PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The Auburn Park Remediation Project involved the remediation of friable and non-friable asbestos contamination, preventing potential health risks and enabling the safe redevelopment of the land. Through the removal of hazardous materials, secure containment, and environmental protection measures, the project successfully restored the site for future use.

PROJECT SCOPE:

Excavate and contain asbestos-impacted materials within an engineered containment cell.

Place a marker layer over the containment cell for long-term identification and risk management.

Cap the site with a VENM (Virgin Excavated Natural Material) layer to ensure environmental stability.

Implement dust suppression and stockpile management to minimize airborne contamination and maintain site safety.
