Raised Pedestrian Crossing at Galston Road North of Bushlands Hornsby

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The project involves upgrading the crossing to a raised marked crossing (wombat crossing) with new pavement, kerbs, blisters, signage, and line marking, with minimal disruption to traffic and access. The project aimed to improve the safety and convenience of pedestrians and drivers at an existing school crossing facility on Galston Road, Hornsby Heights.

PROJECT SCOPE:

Carry out all the necessary works to construct the project along with the supply of materials that includes:

Demolition of existing road pavement and appropriate disposal.

Construction of Wombat crossing. Line marking and signage.

Restoration of disturbed areas.
